AGENDA

The agenda — “Freedom of Expression vs. Influence: Setting Boundaries in Indian Digital Content Creation” — addresses one of the most critical debates in the digital era. With the rapid rise of YouTube and other content platforms, creators today wield unprecedented influence over public opinion, culture, and even policy. However, this power brings with it a responsibility to balance creativity and free speech with accuracy, accountability, and societal impact. Delegates will engage in thoughtful discussions on the ethical boundaries of content creation, the risks of misinformation, the pressure of virality, and the need for digital literacy. The session will also explore the role of regulatory bodies, self-censorship, and platform policies in safeguarding both creative freedom and public trust. By the end of this meet, participants are expected to arrive at a nuanced understanding of how to protect the democratic value of free expression while ensuring that digital influence is exercised responsibly.
